The meeting wrapped up on December 3rd with the launch of FABLE’s second global report. This second global report of the FABLE Consortium presents at least one Current Trends Pathway and one Sustainable Pathway for 20 countries. SDSN also worked closely with Monash University, ClimateWorks Centre, and a globally representative Academic Advisory Panel on a Net Zero Campus Guide, to be formally launched in early 2023.

In late 2017, SDSN and the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA) launched the Food, Agriculture, Biodiversity, Land Use and Energy (FABLE) Pathways Consortium to bring together leading research institutions more than 20 country and regional teams. At the meeting, the FABLE teams adopted an ambitious work program.

The UK, Mexico, Russia and Colombia country teams of the Food, Agriculture, Biodiversity, Land-Use, and Energy (FABLE) Pathways Consortium recently engaged with national stakeholders using the FABLE tools to support policymaking. FABLE-UK is also working with sub-national governments on how to apply the analysis at local regional scale.
